<br /> DAS: sh 8/13/86 <br /> DAS:sh 8/18/86R <br /> ORIGINAL <br />R E S 0 L U T ION N o. 10301 AUG 1 8 1986 <br /> - -- - -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF <br />STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS THERETO; <br />AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST OF ABATEMENT <br />AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED FOR 1985-86 <br />(SPRAYING AND TWO DISKINGS) ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10128, adopted January 27, 1986, <br /> <br />the City Council declared weeds, rubbish, dirt and rank growths <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance, and set February <br /> <br />24, 1986 as the date for all objections to the proposed abatement <br /> <br />of said public nuisance to be heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due notice therefor having been given as required <br /> <br />by Article IV, Chapter 14, of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty, and no objections having been presented to said proposed <br /> <br />abatement, the City Council acquired jurisdiction to perform the <br /> <br />work of abating said nuisance, and by Resolution 10142, adopted <br /> <br />February 24, 1986 ordered the Superintendent of Streets to abate <br /> <br />said nuisance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to <br /> <br />this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation an <br /> <br />itemized report of the cost of the abatement spraying and two <br /> <br />diskings of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or <br /> <br />abutting each separate parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, <br /> <br />rubbish and rank growths were removed, and a list of the expenses <br /> <br />proposed to be assessed against said parcels for said spraying <br /> <br />and two diskings abatement (Exhihit "A" attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference); and <br /> <br />lO;:sOl <br />
