<br />SWC:sh 7/30/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10277 <br /> <br />AUG <br /> <br />4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND WELFARE AGENCY FOR COMMUNITY CARE <br />FACILITY LICENSE (KIDS KLUB PROGRAM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Care Facility Act, <br /> <br />California Health and Safety Code ~~1500 et seq., and the Rules <br /> <br />and Regulations of the Department of Social Services, promulgated <br /> <br />pursuant thereto, California Administrative Code ~~80000 et seq., <br /> <br />the City and State have determined that the Kids Klub Program at <br /> <br />Red Morton Center is now classified as a Community Care Facility, <br /> <br />and requires a state license to operate; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has operated the Kids Klub successfully <br /> <br />since the summer of 1981, and this Council desires to continue <br /> <br />said operation and to authorize the Director of Parks, and <br /> <br />Recreation and Community Services to complete an application to <br /> <br />the State for said license; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to complete and submit an <br /> <br />application to the State of California <br /> <br />Health and Welfare <br /> <br />Agency for the purpose of obtaining a Community Care Facility <br /> <br />License for the operation of the Kids Klub Program, and to <br /> <br />execute any and all agreements required pursuant to the obtaining <br /> <br />of such a license. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10277 <br />
