<br />SWC:sh 6/20/86 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~Q.I0241 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br />JUN 2 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />TWELVE-TON EQUIPMENT TRAILERS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10218, adopted May 19, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of two (2) <br /> <br />twelve-ton equipment trailers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ricker Machinery Company, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Ricker Machinery Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ricker Machinery Company, in the sum of <br /> <br />Eighteen <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />One <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Two <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />88/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($18,102.88), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />June 13, 1986, for the sale of two (2) twelve-ton equipment <br /> <br />trailers is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />10241 <br /> <br />-./ <br />
