<br />C'TriTC : S h 6 / 11 / 86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10231 <br /> <br /> <br />1 6 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ESTABLISHING DEFERRED COMPENSA <br />PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES; AND APPROVING AND AUTHOR <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH GREAT WESTERN SAVINGS <br />ADMINISTRATION OF SAID PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7398, adopted Apri 28, <br /> <br />1975, the City Council established a deferred compensation plan <br /> <br />for employees of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10160, adopted Marc 17, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br /> <br />rred <br /> <br />1986, the City Council established a second alternative def rred <br /> <br />compensation plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to establish a third <br /> <br />compensation plan to provide City employees with <br /> <br />ther <br /> <br />alternative means of deferred compensation investment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />rred <br /> <br />compensation plan administered by Great Western Savings <br /> <br />reat <br /> <br />Western") which plan is in conformance with Section 457 0 the <br /> <br />Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended; and <br /> <br />lish <br /> <br />said plan for the City of Redwood City, and to approve <br /> <br />tion <br /> <br />of an agreement for the administration of said plan for the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD ITY, <br /> <br />1.
