<br />DAS: sh <br />SWC:sh <br /> <br /> <br />/86 <br />/86R <br /> <br />RIGINAL <br />J N 9 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0226 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND BROWN <br />AND CALDWELL RELATING TO ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SOIL <br />CONTAMINATION INVESTIGATION AT THE PROPOSED WATER <br />STORAGE RESERVOIR II SITE, REDWOOD SHORES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to design and construct certain ater <br /> <br /> <br />Storage Reservoir improvements to its water system at Re <br /> <br />Shores; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Brown and Caldwell, for <br /> <br />those certain services, including, but not limited to, site <br /> <br />investigation and soils analysis, <br /> <br />engineering studies and <br /> <br />reports, <br /> <br />preliminary <br /> <br />cost <br /> <br />estimates <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />assistance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />regulatory agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brown and Caldwell has represented to City th t it <br /> <br />is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all 0 the <br /> <br />services referred to in this Agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD ITY, <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />City and entitled "Agreement for Engineering Services for <br /> <br />Shores - Redwood City, California" (form dated 5/19/86), a copy <br /> <br />of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereo <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorize and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement, with attestation by the City <br /> <br />Clerk, for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10226 <br />
