DAS: sh 5/14/86 MAY 1 9 1986 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 10212 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE ROOSEVELT AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PHASE I SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10185, adopted April 14, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the Roosevelt Avenue Phase I Surface Improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, O'Grady Paving, Inc., Mountain View, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said O'Grady Paving, Inc.; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of 0' Grady Paving, Inc. in the sum of Seven Hundred Forty-six Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-seven and 70/100 Dollars ($746,597.70) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated May 13, 1986, for the Roosevel t Avenue Reconstruction Phase I Surface Improvements, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on behalf of the City of Redwood City and 0' Grady Paving, Inc., for the performance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned 10212
