<br />DAS:sh 5/12/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.1 020 7 <br /> <br />ORIG\NAL <br />MAY 1 2 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BYPASS <br />SEWER LINE ON WINDSOR WAY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10202, adopted May 5, <br /> <br />1986, the City Council authorized the City Deparment of Public <br /> <br />Works to call for bids for installation of a sewer bypass line on <br /> <br />Windsor Way and Alameda de las Pulgas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Glage Underground Construction, Inc., Campbell, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said Glage <br /> <br />Underground Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Glage Underground Construction, Inc. in the <br /> <br />sum of Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($21,500.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />May 9, 1986 for repair of the sewer blockage on Windsor Way, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Glage Underground Construction, <br /> <br />Inc., for the performance of said work in accordance with the <br /> <br />10207 <br />
