ORIGINAl. <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br /> OF THE DISABLED) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /~ 2 <br /> day of ..--n,,v~.~. . <br /> <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, (City) and the CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE <br />DISABI.ED, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a housing accessibility modification program for <br />residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) from its Community Development Block <br />Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty <br />Thousand Dollars ($30,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the purposes described <br />in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
