<br />n~S:djc 2/6/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 1 0 13 8 <br /> <br />FEB 1 0 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) ROOT <br />CUTTER TRENCHER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10111, adopted January <br /> <br />6, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br /> <br />(1) root cutter trencher; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Vermeer Sales & Service, Fremont, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Vermeer Sales & Service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Vermeer Sales & Service, in the sum of <br /> <br />Twenty-three Thousand Six Hundred Six and 83/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($23,606.83), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />January 20, 1986, for the sale of one (1) root cutter trencher is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />101.38 <br />
