<br />SWC:sh 1/31/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10132 <br /> <br />ORIGiNAL <br />FEG 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) CARGO <br />VAN TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10111, adopted January <br /> <br />6, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br /> <br />(1) cargo van truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Les Vogel Chevrolet, San Bruno, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Les Vogel Chevrolet; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Les Vogel Chevrolet, in the sum of Twelve <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Four <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Ninety-three <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />98/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($12,493.98), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />January 21, 1986, for the sale of one (1) cargo van truck is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to' execute <br /> <br />a purchase order agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for the purchase of said equipment in accordance <br /> <br />with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10132 <br />
