0 R I G I N A L 8/31/98 <br /> <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13447 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Youth and Family Assistance-Your House South <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance-Your House South is a private, non-profit organization <br />that provides comprehensive solutions to our community's most serious problems by providing violence <br />prevention and education, substance abuse counseling, runaway and homeless youth programs, and <br />youth and family support programs, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and <br />benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance-Your House South, has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July `1, '1998 and ending June <br />30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Youth and Family Assistance-Your House South to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW. THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth <br /> and Family Assistance-Your House South a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for fu~l particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> city. <br /> <br /> <br />
