8/31/98 <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L (07/20/98) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13441 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Community Education Center <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center is a private, non-profit organization that provides a <br />quality multicultural preschool experience for children from diverse backgrounds, which services are in <br />furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July i, 1998 and ending June 30, i999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Community Education Center to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Community Education Center a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
