__ 0 R I G I N A L 8/31/98 <br /> <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13432 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services is a private, non-profit organization that provides <br />assistance to individuals in San Mateo County who are HIV infected, which services are in furtherance of <br />the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7120198), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
