8/31/98 <br /> <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13431 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) is a private, non- <br />profit organization that provides provides services to person with mental retardation, which services are in <br />furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) , has requested <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 <br />and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) to provide financial <br /> <br />assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7120198), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
