8/31/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13425 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE <br /> STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 1998-1999; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13378 adopted July 6, 1998, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance <br />Project 1998-1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and flied with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Environmental Care, inc. dba Arbor Care of San Jose, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> `1. The bid of Environmental Care, Inc. dba Arbor Care, setting forth <br />hourly rates stated in said bidder's proposal dated August `1`1, `1998, for the <br />Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Project 1998-`1999, is hereby <br />accepted, said hourly rates are hereby expressly accepted for purposes of <br />determining actual compensation under the agreement, subject to the maximum <br />limitation of expenditures thereunder of Two Hundred Eighteen Thousand Three <br /> <br /> Reso-475 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F: Shared~hared~Redwood~Council <br /> <br /> <br />
