<br />DES:sh 12/02/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10097 <br /> <br />OR\G\Nf\l <br /> <br />DEe 1 6 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR WATER TELEMETRY SYSTEM <br />MAINTENANCE; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10060 adopted November <br /> <br />4, 1985 by this Council, the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> <br />work of Water Telemetry System Maintenance in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Telstar Instruments, Inc., of Concord, California <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said contract to said bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Telstar Instruments, Inc. in the estimated <br /> <br />annual total amount of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eight and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($15,808.00) for basic services and for those <br /> <br />hourly rates for such services and for routine work above the <br /> <br />basic services, overtime, emergency calls, and for additional <br /> <br />costs listed for such services and costs in said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated November 11, 1985 for water telemetry and other <br /> <br />electrical system maintenance in accordance with the contract <br /> <br />documents therefore on file in the office of the City Clerk, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of <br /> <br />10097 <br />
