<br />SWC:sh 12/12/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />100~4 <br /> <br />ORiG\NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FLORENCE STREET RESTRIPING; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />DEe 1 6 1985 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solicited bids for the restriping of Florence Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, R.C. Shay & Co., Inc., Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />services, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to R.C. Shay & Co., Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of R.C. Shay & Co., Inc. in the amount of Eleven <br /> <br />Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($11,500.00), for <br /> <br />Florence Street striping in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated November 25, 1985 is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />the furnishing of said repairs. <br /> <br />2. That certain agreement (form dated 12/12/85) by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and R.C. Shay & Co., Inc., for <br /> <br />Florence Street restriping, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 009~ <br />
