' II ..., tJ..,. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10087 <br /> <br />DEe 1 6 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY <br />INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE REDWOOD <br />CITY GENERAL PLAN RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE <br />MARINA REDEVELOPMENT AREA OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.61 of the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, this Council hereby initiates <br /> <br />proceedings for the amendment of the Redwood City General Plan by <br /> <br />declaring its intention to amend the land use map of the Land Use <br /> <br />Element <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />redesignating <br /> <br />lands <br /> <br />located <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Marina <br /> <br />Redevelopment area of the City of Redwood City from the <br /> <br />"Employment" <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />"Public <br /> <br />Facility" <br /> <br />designations <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />"Commercial", <br /> <br />"Employment", <br /> <br />and "High Density Residential" <br /> <br />designations in conformance with the "Land Use Plan <br /> <br />Maple <br /> <br />Street Marina", prepared by the proposed developer of the <br /> <br />property for the purposes of an Environmental Impact Report, <br /> <br />which plan is attached hereto, <br /> <br />labeled "Exhibit F" <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.62 of the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, the Planning Commission shall hold a <br /> <br />public hearing on the amendment proposed hereby, and shall return <br /> <br />its report and recommendations with respect to said amendment <br /> <br />within thirty (30) days from the date of adoption hereof; <br /> <br />provided, however, that said period may be extended to a period <br /> <br />not to exceed forty-five (45) days in the event said Commission <br /> <br />deems such extent ion necessary in order to accommodate public <br /> <br />hearing requirements. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10087 <br />
