0 R I G I N A L 8/31/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13417 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SPEED HUMP <br /> INSTALLATION 1998-1999; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13384, adopted July 13, 1998, <br /> <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for Speed Hump Installation 1998-1999, <br />Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Royal Seal Asphalt Maintenance Co., Inc. of Fremont, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Royal Seal Asphalt Maintenance Co., Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Royal Seal Asphalt Maintenance Co., Inc. in the amount of <br />Thirty-one Thousand One Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($31,150.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 11, 1998 for the <br />Speed Hump Installation 1998-1999, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
