<br />DCB:sh 9/19/85 <br />DCB:sh 10/30/85R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10064 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES, MEDICAL, RETIREMENT, <br />DENTAL AND OTHER ECONOMIC BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN <br />DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The following monthly salary rates, in dollars, are <br /> <br />established for each of the employee positions within the <br /> <br />employment classifications relating to the Police Department <br /> <br />personnel, set forth below, within the designated ranges <br /> <br />hereinafter set forth, for the period September 1, 1985 to August <br /> <br />31, 1988: <br />Police Officer Trainee 2176 2285 2399 <br />Police Officer 2176 2285 2399 2518 2644 <br />Police Sergeant 2560 2688 2823 2964 3112 <br /> 2. Effective with the first pay period on or after <br />September 1, 1986, the salary of the personnel classifications <br /> <br />listed in Paragraph 1 of this Resolution shall be increased not <br /> <br />less than 5%, but not greater than 8% of the 1985 salary rate for <br /> <br />each personnel classification. <br /> <br />3. Effective with the first pay period on or after <br /> <br />September 1, 1987, the salary of the personnel classification <br /> <br />listed in Paragraph 1 of this resolution shall be increased not <br /> <br />less than 5%, but not greater than 8% of the 1986 salary rate for <br /> <br />each personnel classification. <br /> <br />4. Effective September 1, 1985, the City shall contribute <br /> <br />on behalf of employees and retirees who were hired before <br /> <br />September 1, 1985, and represented by the Public Officers <br /> <br />Association, a fully-paid health care plan who have selected <br /> <br />10064 <br />
