<br />DCB:sh 10/29/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q. 1 0055 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONDEMNING BUILDING AT 11-15 DILLER STREET <br />AS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND DIRECTING RECONSTRUCTION OR <br />REMOVAL THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Division of the City has determined <br /> <br />that the building located at 11-15 Diller Street is a public <br /> <br />nuisance as defined by Section 9.5 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />because of serious and numerous violations of the Fire Code, <br /> <br />Uniform Building Code, Uniform Housing Code, Uniform Plumbing <br /> <br />Code, and the Electrical Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Division has given notice as evidenced <br /> <br />Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> <br />reference, to the owner of the building at 11-15 Diller Street, <br /> <br />to appear before this City Council to show cause, if any, why <br /> <br />such building should not be declared to be a public nuisance and <br /> <br />abated in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9 of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received extensive evidence that <br /> <br />many violations of the Uniform Building Code, Uniform Housing <br /> <br />Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and the Electrical Code exist in the <br /> <br />building at 11-15 Diller Street in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bui lding at <br /> <br />11-15 Diller Street is hereby <br /> <br />determined to be a public nuisance because such building <br /> <br />constitutes a fire hazard and because such building endangers the <br /> <br />life, health, property, and safety of the occupants of such <br /> <br />10055 <br />
