- ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> CLARA-MATEO HOMELESS REHABILITATION SHELTER <br /> <br /> (CLARA-MATEO ALLIANCE, INC.) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I D~I~ day of <br />~, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of Califomia, (City), and CLARA-MATEO <br />ALLIANCE, INC., a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a homeless rehabilitation shelter for homeless <br />individuals, couples and families who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the total sum of Ten <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
