~ -~ 8/18/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13405 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM SUPPLIES; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the purchase of sanitary sewer system supplies for the Sanitary Sewer Section of <br />the Public Works Services Department of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Weco Industries, Inc. of Vallejo, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Weco Industries, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Weco Industries, Inc., in the total amount of Thirty-seven <br />Thousand Eighty-one and 58/100 Dollars ($37,081.58), computed in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated August 4, 1998 for the purchase of sanitary <br />sewer system supplies, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />the purchase of said supplies to the City. <br /> <br />Reso-467 1 <br />DES:djk <br />G:/Shared/SharedJRedwood/Council <br />08/07/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
