.... 7/27/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13389 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO <br /> (2) COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of two (2) compact pickup trucks for the Police Department of <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Burlingame Ford of Burlingame, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Burlingame Ford; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Burlingame Ford, in the total amount of Twenty-seven <br />Thousand One Hundred Eighty-five and 14/100 Dollars ($27,185.14), computed <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated July 1, 1998 for the sale of two <br />(2) compact pickup trucks, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said vehicles to the City. <br /> <br />Reso-443 1 <br />DES:djk <br />G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />07/08/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
