<br />'lCB:sh 10/11/85 <br />CB:sh 10/21/85R <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />OCT 2 1 1985 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY <br />AND RETENTION OF 15 I PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT BETWEEN <br />"E" AND "F" STREETS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10043 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an eight (8) foot pedestrian walkway between "E" and <br /> <br />"F" Streets in the City of Redwood City, heretofore relinquished <br /> <br />and dedicated to the City, is no longer needed to restrict access <br /> <br />upon such walkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said portion of walkway pursuant to the provisions of Part <br /> <br />3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a pedestrian walkway between "E" and "F" Streets while reserving a <br /> <br />public service easement is hereinafter described, and elects to <br /> <br />proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br /> <br />Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The pedestrian walkway to be vacated and the public <br /> <br />service easement to be retained are more particularly described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> <br />reference. <br /> <br />10043 <br />
