T"\~B:sh .;B: sh 10/11/85 10/16/85R RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 10042 OmGINAL OCT ~ 1 1985 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (ROBART STREET) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, AND RETENTION OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT AND WIRE CLEARANCE EASEMENT,SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION AND RETENTION OF EASEMENT; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION WHEREAS, a portion of a public street (Robart Street) in the City of Redwood City, heretofore relinquished and dedicated to the City, is no longer needed to restrict access upon such street; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to vacate said portion of Robart Street pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of Robart Street as such street is hereinafter described while reserving a public service easement and wire clearance easement, as are hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. 2. The portion of Robart Street to be vacated and public service easement and wire clearance easement to be received are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, November 18, 1985, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of Supervisors 10042
