<br />DCB:sh 10/9/85 <br /> <br />ORlG I NAL <br />OCT 1 4 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 003 5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />TEN-TON EQUIPMENT TRAILERS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.65, the <br /> <br />Ci ty Manager has solicited bids for the purchase of two (2) <br /> <br />ten-ton capacity equipment trailers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Nor Cal Ford Equipment, Cotati, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Nor Cal Ford Equipment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Nor Cal Ford Equipment in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Two and 00/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($13,852.00), for the purchase of two (2) ten-ton <br /> <br />equipment trailers, in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated October 3, 1985 which proposal is incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said two (2) ten-ton capacity equipment trailers. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, with <br /> <br />Nor Cal Ford Equipment, for the purchase of the two (2) ten-ton <br /> <br />equipment trailers in accordance with, and subject to, the <br /> <br />aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10035 <br />
