<br />DCB:sh 9/11/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9998 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 1 6 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO <br />MOTORCYCLES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.65, the <br /> <br />City Manager has solicited bids for the replacement of two police <br /> <br />motorcycles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Kawasaki, San Mateo, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said motorcycles, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />peninsula Kawasaki; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Peninsula Kawasaki in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Eleven Thousand Six Hundred Six and 37/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($11,606.37), for the replacement of two police motorcycles, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for the purchase of two police <br /> <br />motorcycles. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all <br /> <br />appropriate documents for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty, with peninsula Kawasaki, for the purchase of two police <br /> <br />motorcycles <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />subject <br /> <br />to, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />"9-' > <br />~.
