<br />DCB:sh 8/19/85 <br />DCB:djc 8/22/85R <br />AUG 2 6 1985 <br /> <br />.OR/GlAI11 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF 1~1L <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR BIKE PATH AND <br />BICYCLE MASTER PLAN UPDATE <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9988 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of Redwood City plans to design and construct <br /> <br />certain bike path improvements at the existing Redwood Creek <br /> <br />Bicycle Bridge and to update the Redwood City Bikeways Plan, <br /> <br />dated July 1975; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage an <br /> <br />engineering firm to perform some of those services, including, <br /> <br />but not limited to, engineering studies and reports, preliminary <br /> <br />and final design, and services during construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CH2M Hill has represented to the City that it is <br /> <br />uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all of the required <br /> <br />services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement For Engineering <br /> <br />Services for Redwood Creek Bike Path and Bicycle Master Plan <br /> <br />Update, Redwood City, California", by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and CH2M Hill, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />99ti8 <br />
