<br />S~"':djc 8/22/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~O.-9-.9....8.1i <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET LIGHT CONVERSION PROJECT; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solicited bids for the Street Light Conversion Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Lighting Services, San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />services, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to City Lighting Services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of City Lighting Services in the amount of <br /> <br />Twelve Thousand Five Hundred and No/I00 Dollars ($12,500.00), for <br /> <br />the conversion of 500 street lights from mercury vapor to low <br /> <br />pressure sodium vapor, in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated July 27, 1985 which proposal is incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said repairs. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, with <br /> <br />City Lighting Services, for the street light conversion project, <br /> <br />in accordance with, and subject to, the aforementioned bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, and the Standard Specifications of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9985 <br />
