6/22/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13365 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR <br /> THE CONSTRUCTION OF RUBBERIZED RAILROAD <br /> CROSSINGS IN THE CITIES OF BURLINGAME, SAN MATEO <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, contract documents for the construction of rubberized <br /> railroad crossings in the Cities of Burlingame, San Mateo and Redwood City, <br /> have been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof and <br />authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the work therein <br />described; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Those certain contract documents entitled, "Contract Documents and <br />Specifications for Construction of Rubberized Railroad Crossings in the Cities of <br />Burlingame, San Mateo, and Redwood City", prepared by Mark Thomas & Co., <br />Inc., Consulting Civil Engineers, Municipal Planners and Surveyors for the <br />Department of Community Development Services/Engineering and Construction, <br />a copy of which documents are on file in the office the of the Manager, <br />Engineering and Construction, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2.
