DCB:sh 8/5/85 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9968 AUG 12 1985 ORiGiNAL RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST OF ABATEMENT (SECOND DISKING) AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED FOR 1983-1984 ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9510, adopted January 23, 1984, the City Council declared weeds, rubbish, dirt and rank growths in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance, and set February 13, 1984 as the date for all objections to the proposed abatement of said public nuisance to be heard; and WHEREAS, due notice therefor having been given as required by Article IV, Chapter 14, of the Code of the City of Redwood City, and no objections having been presented to said proposed abatement, the City Council acquired jurisdiction to perform the work of abating said nuisance, and by Resolution 9518, adopted February 13, 1984 ordered the Superintendent of Streets to abate said nuisance; and WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation an itemized report of the cost of the second disking abatement of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each separate parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths were removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be assessed against said parcels for said second disking abatement; and ~'VHEREAS , as appears from affidavits on file, the requirements for posting, publishing and mailing said reports or
