<br />OR1G'NAL <br /> <br />JUl 2 2 1985 <br /> <br />B_E_Q_Q_b_Y_I_I_Q_~__~_Q~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO WOMEN'S SHELTER (LA CASA DE SAN MATEO) <br /> <br />~~b~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Mateo Women's Shelter (La Casa De San Mateo) has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing shelter and support <br /> <br />services to battered women and their children in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Mateo Women's Shelter has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br /> <br />year commencing July 1, 1985 and ending June 30, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to San Mateo Women's Shelter (La Casa de San Mateo) <br /> <br />Three Thousand and NO/100 Dollars ($3,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and San Mateo Women's Shelter <br /> <br />(La Casa de San Mateo), and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/85), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and San Mateo Women's Shelter, a copy of <br /> <br />9962 <br />
