<br />9958 <br /> <br />JUl2 2 1985 <br /> <br />B_E_~_Q_~_Y_I_l_Q_~--~-Q~ 995 ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />L.~iG1NAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing free legal assistance to seniors <br /> <br />and families of modest income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1985 and ending June 30, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County the sum of Two- <br /> <br />Thousand Five Hundred and NO/100 Dollars ($2,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Co~ncil for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo <br /> <br />County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />go.)q <br />,. ,~~ U <br />
