<br />9953 <br /> <br />B_g_~_Q_~_Y_I_I_Q_H__H_Q~ 9953 <br /> <br />JUL 2 2 19~5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has been established for <br /> <br />the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool program for <br /> <br />children and their parents in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1985 and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the Community Education Center the sum of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Five-Hundred and NO/I00 Dollars ($14,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and Community Education Center, <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/85), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a copy of <br /> <br />9953 <br />
