<br />9952 <br /> <br />JUL 2 2 198~ <br /> <br />E_E_~_Q_6_Q_!_I_Q_~__~_Q~ ~ 95 k <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Disabled, Inc., has been established for <br /> <br />the principal purpose of providing non-residential peer self-help <br /> <br />support service by and for the disabled geared to assist in their <br /> <br />independence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1985 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., the <br /> <br />sum of Six Thousand Twenty-Five and NO/I00 Dollars ($6,025.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and Center for Independence of <br /> <br />the Disabled, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9952 <br />
