6/22/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13362 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETVVEEN THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE SAN <br /> CARLOS POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") entitled, <br />"Memorandum of Understanding Between the Redwood City Police Department <br />and the San Carlos Police Department", by and between the City of Redwood <br />City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and the City of San Carlos, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, for the purpose of establishing <br />a joint SWAT between the participating agencies to handle certain tactical <br />situations, a copy of which MOU is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the Police Chief and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said MOU for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br /> Reso-419 1 <br /> F:~shared\Redwood\Council\ <br /> DES:djk <br /> 05~28~98 <br /> <br /> <br />
