_ 5/4/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13334 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR YOUR HOUSE SOUTH REHABILITATION <br /> <br /> (YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Youth and Family Assistance (Contractor) conducts an <br />emergency housing program for homeless youth for residents of the City of <br />Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />install safety improvements at the facility to conduct the Program during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 <br />Dollars ($25,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Your House South <br />Rehabilitation (Youth and Family Assistance) (form dated April 27, 1998), by and <br /> <br /> <br />
