5/4/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13330 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR CHILDREN'S SAFETY PROJECT <br /> <br /> (FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Family Service Agency (Contractor) conducts a court <br /> order supervised child-parent visit program for residents of the City of Redwood <br /> City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br /> ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirteen Thousand, Five Hundred <br />and no/100 Dollars $13,500.00) from its Community Development Block Grant <br />funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Children's Safety Project <br />(Family Service Agency) (form dated April 27, 1998), by and between the City of <br /> <br /> <br />
