<br />DCB:sh 7/18/85 <br />JUL 2 2 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9946 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR PARKING LOT RESURFACING PROJECT <br />(1984-85); REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9916, adopted June 24, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for parking lot resurfacing <br /> <br />project for the Parking District Lots No. IV and VI during fiscal <br /> <br />year 1984-85; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O'GRADY PAVING, INC., Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />l.S the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said O'Grady Paving, <br /> <br />Inc. ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of O'Grady Paving, Inc. in the amount of Sixty <br /> <br />Three Thousand Eight Hundred Two and 00/100 Dollars ($63,802.00), <br /> <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />July 16, 1985, for the Resurfacing of Parking Lots IV and VI l.S <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 7/18/85) by <br /> <br />9946 <br />
