<br />DCB:sh 7/19/85 <br /> <br />JUL 22 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br />---------- -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OFORIGINAL <br />WATER SAMPLING AND TESTING FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; RETURNING SECURITY DEPOSITS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> <br />9944 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9897, adopted June 10, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of water <br /> <br />sampling and testing for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McIntosh Laboratories, Santa Clara, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said McIntosh Laboratories; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of McIntosh Laboratories in the amount of Ten <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Eight <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Thirty <br /> <br />Five <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />00/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($10,835.00) , <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />bidder's <br /> <br />proposal <br /> <br />(containing a per item price and a frequency of performance <br /> <br />schedule) dated July 2, 1985, for the furnishing of water <br /> <br />sampling and testing for the City of Redwood City, in accordance <br /> <br />wi th those contract documents approved for the performance of <br /> <br />said work, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 7/19/85) by <br /> <br />9944 <br />
