<br />DCB:sh 7/8/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9937 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUl 1 5 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />SELECTED MATERIALS (SAND, AGGREGATE, PEA GRAVEL, AND <br />FINES [ROAD FILLER] ) FOR 1985-86 FISCAL YEAR; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9899, adopted June 10, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />selected materials (sand, aggregate, pea gravel, and fines) for <br /> <br />1985-86 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Supply & Trucking, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said materials, and it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Redwood Supply & Trucking; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Redwood Supply & Trucking, in the amount of <br /> <br />Thirty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Nine and 47/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($38,249.47), more or less, for the furnishing of selected <br /> <br />materials (sand, aggregate, pea gravel, and fines) for 1985-86 <br /> <br />Fiscal Year in accordance with the bidder's proposal and in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />9937 <br />
