<br />SWC:sh 6/27/85 <br /> <br />JUL 1 1985 <br /> <br />TWOORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />STORM DRAINAGE PUMPS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9924 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solici ted bids for the furnishing of two (2) storm drainage <br /> <br />pumps; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />wi th the Director of Public Works for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />items; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Johnson Pump Company, Benicia, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Johnson Pump Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Johnson Pump Company in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Five and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($15,805.00), plus the bidder's offer to forgive an outstanding <br /> <br />invoice of $1,692.00, for a net of $14,213.00 for the furnishing <br /> <br />of two (2) storm drainage pumps, in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated June 25, 1985 which proposal is incorporated <br /> <br />herein by reference, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />9924 <br />
