<br />16-017 <br /> <br />WMAM:SSD:els 06/05/85 20c <br /> <br />JUN 1 7 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION lLIO. 9 9 1 4 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER THE LEVY OF <br />BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS USING THE ALTERNATIVE METHOD, <br />APPROVING CITY MANAGER'S REPORT, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR NOTICE OF HEARIRG THEREON <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, that <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1895, <br /> <br />adopted by this Council on April 16, 1984, and the applicable <br /> <br />provisions of Chapter 26, Part 3, Division 7 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California, said Council did on April 27, <br />1985, adopt its Resolution No. 9859, Ordering the Formation of Seaport <br /> <br />Centre Maintenance District, and Ordering that the Alternative Method <br /> <br />for the Levy of Benefit Assessments be Made Applicable to Said <br /> <br />Maintenance District; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council by said Resolution did order the formation <br />of a maintenance district in a portion of the City to be known as <br /> <br />"Seaport Centre Maintenance District" (herein the District), and did <br /> <br />order that the amount necessary to pay the costs and expenses of the <br /> <br />maintenance and operation of the public improvements therein described <br /> <br />be raised by an annual special benefit assessment apportioned according <br /> <br />to benefits among the several lots or parcels of property within the <br /> <br />District in accordance with the formula therefor more particularly set <br /> <br />forth in said Resolution and in accordance with and pursuant to the <br /> <br />provisions for the alternative method for the levy of benefit <br /> <br />assessments in maintenance districts in said City as provided in <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1895; <br /> <br />9914 <br />
