<br />S~~:djg-c 6/14/85 <br /> <br />JUN 1 7 1985 <br /> <br />~ ~13 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br />DEED TO TERMINATE TEMPORARY LEVEE MAINTENANCE EASEMENTS <br />(GID 1-64) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6226, adopted February <br /> <br />16, 1970, the City accepted a grant deed from Leslie Properties, <br /> <br />Inc., for temporary easements for maintenance of interim levees <br /> <br />constructed within portions of Marlin Subdivision No. 2 and <br /> <br />Dolphin Subdivision No. 1 within Redwood City General Improvement <br /> <br />District No. 1-64; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such easements were granted for a period of time as <br /> <br />required for completion of final improvements to the exterior <br /> <br />levee system of Redwood Peninsula adjacent to Steinberger Slough, <br /> <br />at which time such easements would automatically terminate; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the grant of easements, <br /> <br />the owners of the fee interests underlying such easements have <br /> <br />demanded that the City execute a quitclaim deed or other document <br /> <br />necessary or desirable to evidence termination of said easements; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a <br /> <br />quitclaim deed for termination of said easements, and it is the <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve said deed and to authorize its <br /> <br />execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9 913 <br />
