<br />S~~:djg-c 6/13/85 <br /> <br />JUN 1 7 1985 <br /> <br />-------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI <br /> <br />N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9903 <br /> <br />O:'I('ll\IAL <br />I{\U 1\ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND A THORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ( REA AGENCY ON AGING - 1985-86) <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of supe1visors of the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />California has designated itsel~ the Area Agency on Aging and has <br /> <br /> <br />undertaken the administration of a program to foster the develop- <br /> <br />ment of comprehensive and coordtnated service systems to serve <br /> <br /> <br />older persons pursuant to the O~der Americans Act of 1964, as <br /> <br />amended, Pub. L. 89-73; 42 u.s.r. Section 3001 et ~., and all <br /> <br />amendments, rules and regulatiops pertaining thereto (hereinafter, <br /> <br />collectively referred to as the! "Act") ; <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary alnd desirable that said Area Agency <br /> <br /> <br />contract pursuant to said Act ~or the purpose of procuring those <br />! <br /> <br />projects known as Social Serviqes and Nutrition (hereinafter <br />! <br /> <br />collectively referred to as"pr~ject"; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been P1esented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />with the County of San Mateo tq fund Social Services within the <br />! <br />! <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and to authorize its execution in accordance with the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9 90~ <br />
