<br />DF~:djg-c 5/23/85 <br /> <br />JUN 3 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9R9iJ <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR BOND COUNSEL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH TAX AND REVENUE <br />ANTICIPATION NOTE PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to issue short-term tax and <br /> <br />revenue anticipation notes pursuant to Sections 53850 et seq. of <br /> <br />the California Government Code and Section 66 of the Charter of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with such proceedings the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City requires advice and assistance of bond counsel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jones Hall Hill & White, a Professional Law <br /> <br />Corporation, represent that they are qualified by training and <br /> <br />experience to perform the aforesaid services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />said attorneys providing for the furnishing of such services to <br /> <br />the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - By and Between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Jones Hall Hill & White, a <br /> <br />Professional Law Corporation, for Bond Counsel Services in <br /> <br />Connection With Tax and Revenue Anticipation Note Proceedings" <br /> <br />(form dated 5/20/85) providing for the furnishing of bond counsel <br /> <br />services pertaining to a proposed issue of tax and revenue <br />
