FOR <br /> <br />EXECUTION OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires public works inspection services, <br /> <br />particularly in connection with the reconstruction of Oak Avenue <br /> <br />and Roosevelt Avenue Projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Angus Nelson, Ltd. has represented to City that it <br /> <br />is experienced and uniquely qualified to perform such services; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Angus Nelson, Ltd. to <br /> <br />perform such public works inspection services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Public <br /> <br />Works Inspection" (form dated 5/8/85) by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Angus Nelson, Ltd., for the public works <br /> <br />inspection services, at a total contract price not to exceed <br /> <br />Thirty Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($35,000.00), a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which agreement reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9879 <br />
