'!... <br /> <br />MAY 6 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SIDEWALK REPAIR AND TREE <br />PROGRAM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9837 adopted March 25, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the sidewalk repair and <br /> <br />tree program for fiscal year 1984-85. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George Bianchi Construction, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said George <br /> <br />Bianchi Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of George Bianchi Construction, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Five Hundred Thirty Two Thousand One Hundred Fifty Seven and <br /> <br />88/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($532,157.88) , <br /> <br />computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated April 23, 1985, for the sidewalk repair <br /> <br />and tree program for the fiscal year 1984-85, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and George Bianchi Construction, Inc., for the <br /> <br />performance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />98114 <br />
