"j;J <br />No.9 n .t:;} <br /> <br />Or~IG1NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING <br />SPECIFIC PLAN RELATING TO PROPERTY KNOWN AS "WESTPORT <br />PARK", AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT THERETO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 65450 of the Government Code <br /> <br />the Planning Department has prepared a Specific Plan for the <br /> <br />purpose of systematic implementation of the General Plan in the <br /> <br />Westport Park area of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said plan and <br /> <br />has forwarded to this Council its recommendation adopted at its <br /> <br />meeting of April 9, 1985, along with a statement of its reasons <br /> <br />for such recommendation, that the Specific Plan entitled "Draft <br /> <br />for the Westport Park Specific Plan" (prepared by the Redwood <br /> <br />City Planning Department - March, 1985) be adopted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") entitled <br /> <br />"Proposed Amendment of the General Plan for Parkwood 101, Ltd. <br /> <br />Properties" was certified by the Planning Commission on November <br /> <br />4, 1975, which EIR was supplemented by a Soils Report dated <br /> <br />September 16, 1983 and a Traffic Study dated September 14, 1983, <br /> <br />both of which studies were accepted and approved by the Planning <br /> <br />Commission on December 6, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EIR along with the two supplemental reports and <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />additional <br /> <br />Traffic <br /> <br />Study <br /> <br />prepared <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />Barton-Aschman <br /> <br />Associates, dated March 13, 1985, have been reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council in connection with the hearing of the proposed Specific <br /> <br />Plan; and <br /> <br />9872 <br />
